1. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed with PepLine. Placing an order constitutes acceptance of them, together with the research use policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Research use only
PepLine products are supplied strictly for laboratory and research purposes. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical products and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption or for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of disease. Purchasers are responsible for lawful handling and compliance with applicable institutional and regulatory requirements.
Purchasers confirm at the point of order that material will be used strictly for laboratory research purposes.
3. Eligibility
Orders may only be placed by purchasers who are qualified to receive and handle research materials and who are permitted to do so by their institution and jurisdiction. PepLine may require confirmation of eligibility before accepting an order.
4. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when PepLine accepts the order. PepLine may decline any order, including where eligibility cannot be confirmed, where stock is unavailable, or where there is reason to believe material would be used contrary to the research use policy.
5. Pricing
Prices are those shown at the time an order is accepted.
6. Delivery
Orders are packed for laboratory delivery and dispatched with tracked handling. See the shipping policy. PepLine does not commit to a delivery date.
7. Documentation
Where documentation exists for a shipped lot, it is published in the COA Library. Documentation describes the material as supplied. PepLine does not warrant that material is suitable for any particular research purpose — that determination is the purchaser's.
8. Returns
Returns are governed by the returns policy. Because these are research materials, the circumstances in which a return can be accepted are limited.
9. Purchaser obligations
- Handle, store, use and dispose of material lawfully and safely.
- Comply with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Not resell or redistribute material for any prohibited use.
- Record the lot identifier of received material and reconcile it against the accompanying documentation.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in effect when an order is accepted applies to that order.
